Introduction: Overview of electrical drive systems and power. Data from physical and mechanical side. Electrical and mechanical loads characteristic curves of torque - speed. Drives, speed reducers.

Modeling and simulation of dynamic behavior of transformers.

Operating characteristic curves of DC machines : speed control, starting, braking and corresponding provisions for driving machines and DC applications. Modeling and simulation of dynamic behavior of DC machines for motion and power. Special categories of DC machines, control and applications (two streams Engines <<Universal>>, DC permanent magnet machines, servomotors, DC motors without cooler <<Brushless DC motors>> etc.).

Introduction to programmable controllers (PLC): Programming Languages (STL, LADDER).
